Ph.D. Programme in Biomedical Sciences.&nbsp; The Biomedical Sciences doctoral programme is supported by <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/jcet.eu\/\"><strong>Jagiellonian Centre for Experimental Therapeutics <\/strong><\/a><strong> (JCET), <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mcb.uj.edu.pl\/\"><strong>Malopolska Centre of Biotechnology<\/strong><\/a><strong>  (MCB) and <\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/synchrotron.uj.edu.pl\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>National Synchrotron Radiation Centre <\/strong><\/a><strong>(SOLARIS).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are seeking applications from exceptional students to our Ph.D. Programme which will be offering Ph.D studies in the following fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jagiellonian Centre for Experimental Therapeutics<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>endothelial biomedicine including the following:<\/li><li> experimental pharmacology of endothelium, vascular wall and blood cells<\/li><li> vascular drugs metabolism\/ pharmacokinetics<\/li><li> physiology, pathophysiology, biochemistry, bioanalysis of endothelium, vascular wall and blood cells<\/li><li> biochemical imaging of endothelium, vascular wall and blood cells<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Malopolska Centre of Biotechnology<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>bioinformatics<\/li><li>developmental biology<\/li><li>structural biology<\/li><li>chemical imaging<\/li><li>microbial genomics<\/li><li>cell systems and cell models including stem cells<\/li><li>bionanotechnology and bionanochemistry<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">National Synchrotron Radiation Centre Solaris<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>chemical imaging and machine learning for cancer detection<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jcet.eu\/new_en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Untitled-design-1024x536.png\" alt=\"This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is Untitled-design-1024x536.png\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Details of specific projects will be provided in June and applicants will be asked to provide a cover letter to say why they are interested in joining out Biomedical Science Doctoral School, their aspirations and an indication of the area of research in which they are interested and why.&nbsp; We will also ask for a CV and names of referees.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Successful applicants will then work inat least one of the three excellent and international and interdisciplinary institutes based in Krakow \u2013 MCB, JCET or SOLARIS. The institutes are hiring international world-class scientists andpublishing research at on the highest level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More details will follow in May!
