Two NCN projects for JCET: PRELUDIUM22

We already know the results of the next edition of the PRELUDIUM competition financed by the National Science Center in Krakow.

The first person from JCET who will carry out her research is Ewa Stanek. As project leader, she will investigate “Cross-talk between endothelium and perivascular adipose tissue upon inflammation: high-resolution imaging of adipocytes in co-culture with endothelial cells“.

The second person from JCET who received funding for his research under PRELUDIUM22 NCN is Sylwester Mosiołek. The topic of the featured project is: “The role of the mitochondrial unfolded protein response (UPRmt) in endothelial function: a potential new target for the treatment of endothelial dysfunction“.
